City of Santa Cruz leaders are developing an Interim Recovery Plan to guide the City’s economic recovery due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Santa Cruz's local businesses and residents have been greatly impacted by the pandemic, and city revenues are down as a result. The City must make tough decisions and change its spending to fill the large gap between expected and realized revenue, and is seeking public feedback on priority services and areas of focus.
The City Council will be establishing its key areas of focus for the next 12 to 18 months as part of the Interim Recovery Plan so that we can move toward financial sustainability.
