Action Alert: Watsonville Parks Planning

February 7, 2019
Do you want to see more bike facilities in Watsonville? Trails? Pumptracks? We sure do. The Watsonville Parks Department has begun work on several planning processes that will lay out the future of cycle based recreation and transportation in Watsonville, and they are asking the public what they would like to see. If this is important to you please make the time to attend at least one of the public meetings below. The Parks Department is working on three separate plans simultaneously. A general Parks Strategic Plan, a master plan for the City Plaza, and a master plan for Ramsay Park. The strategic plan and Ramsay parks plan could create lots of opportunities for cyclists in South County. MBOSC has submitted a proposal to build a pumptrack at Ramsay Park, and we need the public to speak-up in support of it through this process to make it happen! Please attend one of the following meetings and speak-up for cycling access and facilities!
