City of Santa Cruz Summer Job Opportunity!

Do you want to work outside this summer? Looking to build your skills in a trade? Willing to work hard? The City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Department and Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz are looking to hire students from area High Schools for a summer trails work program, restoring and maintaining trails in the City of Santa Cruz Open Spaces. Employees are supervised by a lead worker who is are familiar with the work area and is well trained in trails maintenance and restoration. See the flyer here, and the detailed job description here. DETAILS
Monday thru Friday 6 hours per day 8:00am til 2:30pm Start Date: June, 17, 2019 8 week program Pay rate: $12.60/per hour
HOW TO APPLY
Applications must be received no later than Friday, May 10, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Applications can be returned to the Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department Office, 323 Church Street, Santa Cruz CA 95060, Attn: Summer Youth Trails Program.
