Meet Alta - New to MBOSC!

Over the last two months you may have noticed a new coffee partner at our Dig Day events. We are proud to announce our neighbor, Alta Organic Coffee Roasting Co. (Alta), has joined the MBOSC family as our trailwork coffee sponsor. Alta roasts organically grown beans, which are sustainably produced and harvested (no pesticides!). We’re happy to partner with a roaster who believes "coffee drinkers deserve clean, quality beans from growers who benefit from ideal working conditions and sustainable farming practices."
Alta will be sponsoring our trailwork events this year, so next time you’re out digging with us, don’t forget to bring a mug and try their delicious dark roast!
More on Alta: Alta has been a family owned and operated business in Santa Cruz for over thirty years. Their headquarters incorporates a cozy little coffee shop right across the street from the Wrigley building on the west side of Santa Cruz, where freshly roasted coffee bean aromas fill the air. Inside their roastery you can check out all of their beans, pet cute dogs, meet all their staff, and enjoy espresso drinks from their homemade espresso machine, or enjoy a fresh pour-over of your choice. MBOSC staff often take breaks to chat with their friendly staff and enjoy a hot cuppa - both of which are sure to give you the midday energy boost you need.
