Mountain Bike to Work Day - May 9!

If you've lived in Santa Cruz for a bit, you're most likely familiar with Ecology Action's Bike to Work Day. It's one of our favorite days of the year! Why? Because who doesn't love riding your bike and getting a free breakfast along the way? That's right. On Bike to Work Day, when you ride your bike to work or school, you can swing by a number of stops for free breakfast to celebrate this sustainable form of transportation. Until now, this has always been focused on commutes via pavement, but what about the dirt?! We are excited to be partnering with Ecology Action to host the first Mountain Bike to Work Day! On Thursday, May 9, when you ride your mountain bike to work via Emma McCrary Trail, you can fuel up with a delicious breakfast right at the trailhead. We'll be out there from 6:30 - 9:30am, so make sure you swing by to say hello and have a hearty meal! EMT can be incorporated into some great routes that get you around town with singletrack as part of your commute. Can you imagine how great of a mood you'll be in when you show up to work or school after a fun mountain bike ride?!
