Photo Recap: Women, Trans, Femme Dig Day
Nothing beats the good vibes of our annual Women, Trans, Femme Dig Day! This year was our EIGHTH time hosting this event alongside joint sponsors Girls Rock MTB and Juliana Bicycles, and even the weather seemed to know that it was time to celebrate. We were met with bright blue skies as we gathered for a day of trail work and fun in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Nearly 40% of our volunteers were first-timers (woohoo!!), and together, we made a huge impact on the park’s backcountry trails! Crews spread out across West Engelsmans reroute and Cowboy Loop to get ahead of the spring/summer dry spell and tackle tread work, trail corridor brushing, drain improvements, and more. Check it out for yourself:
Now for thanks….

Another HUGE thank you to the event sponsors for making it happen: Juliana Bicycles & Girls Rock MTB
And finally, thank you to Lizzy Long Legs Coffee Roasting for supplying coffee all morning and then digging with us, Togos Capitola for the hook up on lunch bags, Kelly's French Bakery for the sweet treats to start the day, and to Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing for hosting the afterparty.
