Photo Recap: Women, Trans, Femme Dig Day

March 19, 2025

Nothing beats the good vibes of our annual Women, Trans, Femme Dig Day! This year was our EIGHTH time hosting this event alongside joint sponsors Girls Rock MTB and Juliana Bicycles, and even the weather seemed to know that it was time to celebrate. We were met with bright blue skies as we gathered for a day of trail work and fun in celebration of International Women’s Day.

Nearly 40% of our volunteers were first-timers (woohoo!!), and together, we made a huge impact on the park’s backcountry trails! Crews spread out across West Engelsmans reroute and Cowboy Loop to get ahead of the spring/summer dry spell and tackle tread work, trail corridor brushing, drain improvements, and more. Check it out for yourself:

Lizzy Long Legs Coffee Roasting serving up the caffeine for us. She also joined us as a volunteer out on the trails! Thanks, Lizzy! If you have a chance, check out her coffee. It’s absolutely delicious.
Our very own Development Manager, Maddie Ortenblad, bringing the hype. As usual.
Juliana Bicycles and Girls Rock have been showing up to support these events for 8 years now. Huge thanks to Hannah Mirsepassi from Juliana (pictured) for helping to make it happen.
Togos. It’s what’s for lunch! Shoutout Togos Capitola for the hook-up!
Thank you to the Girls Rock crew for sponsoring this event! They always bring the fun. How do we get one of those cool jerseys?!
Have you ever seen such a big smile while brushing poison oak?? Told you vibes were high.
More high vibes.
The photos might show lots of partying, but we did get a bunch of awesome work done too…
What song runs through your head for an air guitar?
Overly dramatic encouragement for a rider to test the new build.😂
