Our MBOSC Trail Crew and volunteers have been hard at work on the Sawpit Trail reroute for the past few months, and we're proud to share that the trail is now open to ride!
Check out the video below to learn how the Sawpit Trail reroute was constructed and go along for the first ride with some of our top volunteers. Huge thanks to all donors, volunteers, and project partners Santa Cruz Bicycles and CAL FIRE who supported this project. Without you, this trail would not have been possible!
We're proud to bring riders a challenging new mile-long trail filled with natural terrain and redwood beauty. With five stunning bridges throughout the descent, it'll be hard to stay focused on the singletrack!
If you head out to Soquel Demonstration State Forest to ride the all-new Sawpit in the coming days, feel free to tag us @mountainbikersofsantacruz and use the hashtag #ReturnofSawpit. You never know, you might just end up on our IG! ;)
