Soquel Demonstration State Forest Closure Info

SDSF will have restricted access throughout its 2024 timber harvest... read on to learn when the trails will be closed to the public.
CAL FIRE is beginning timber harvest operations in SDSF this year to improve forest health and resilience. To keep forest workers and the public safe, some trail access is changing in the short term. Key points of the closure (as of 2/22*) below:
1. You are able to use Hihn’s Mill Rd and Sulphur Springs Rd every day of the week (you no longer need to exit via Ridge Trail during weekdays).
2. Corral Trail and Corral Rd are now officially closed to the public through October 15.
3. Full, weekday, closure still set for May 1 through October 15.
