Where your support goes
Support the trails you love – and earn the chance to win a sweet new bike in the process.
This sweepstakes supports key trail projects in the Santa Cruz Mountains and maintenance of new trails at the Cotoni-Coast Dairies Unit of the California Coastal National Monument. After years of planning and construction, SCMTS crews and volunteers have officially opened 9 miles of multi-use trails for hikers and cyclists — but keeping them in great shape requires steady upkeep. Your support ensures:
Freshly built trails stay world-class: SCMTS monitors trail conditions as the weather changes and gets professional trail builders out at Cotoni-Coast Dairies to tackle erosion control, drainage needs, and tread maintenance in a matter of hours.
Weekly volunteer events thrive: Volunteer trail work days help maintain not just Cotoni-Coast Dairies, but also popular local spots like Wilder Ranch State Park and Pogonip. SCMTS offers plenty of opportunities for folks to lend a hand at Cotoni-Coast Dairies this fall/winter.
Supporting other key projects: In addition to keeping Cotoni-Coast Dairies in great shape, SCMTS completes essential trail improvements throughout Soquel Demonstration State Forest, Wilder Ranch State Park, and UCSC’s U-Con Trail.

PayDirt: investing in trails
Santa Cruz Bicycles’ PayDirt program is now in its sixth year of operation and funds more than 60 projects across 10 different countries. Locally, PayDirt has already channeled critical support to efforts like the Westside Pump Track in Santa Cruz, the Flow Trail in Soquel Demonstration State Forest, and the Cotoni-Coast Dairies project itself. By investing in both local and global trail initiatives, PayDirt strengthens communities and ensures more people can access the joy of riding.
We’re thrilled to have PayDirt, Santa Cruz Bicycles, and Reserve step up and make a difference out in our local parks. Will you join them as a supporter of Santa Cruz trails?
