Fern Trail Restoration

Completed in 2019

The SCMTS Trail Crew and the City of Santa Cruz’s Summer Youth Trail Crew joined forces to restore the eroded Fern Trail in Pogonip.

In July of 2019, the SCMTS Trail Crew and the City of Santa Cruz’s Summer Youth Trail Crew took on the eroded Fern Trail! Together, the teams rebuilt steep portions of this popular pedestrian-only trail to restore it to its former glory.

This project was funded by the City of Santa Cruz.
