After a decade of fun, we gave this beloved westside fixture a glow-up.
The Westside Pump Track was originally built in 2013, but after nearly a decade of use, the track was in disrepair. In 2021, we fundraised for and constructed a fully-redesigned Westside Pump Track for our community.
Key changes we made include:
- Pavement - will last longer and is easier to maintain than dirt
- 28 new obstacles (rollers, banked turns, jumps, etc) - designed with both maximum fun and maximum safety in mind
- Landscaping with native, drought-resistant plants
The before image is from 2013, when the Westside Pump Track was first built. The after photo is the redeveloped Westside Pump Track, which SCMTS completed in 2021.
